Our Mission
Drama Knights was born from a simple belief: every child has something extraordinary inside them. Our mission is to create a safe, encouraging space where children can discover their voice, build unshakeable confidence, and develop skills that will serve them for life — all through the magic of drama.
Based at Oystermouth Primary School in the heart of Mumbles, we're proud to be a part of this wonderful community. We keep our sessions affordable at just £5 each because we believe every child should have access to the transformative power of performing arts.

What a Session Looks Like
Every session is carefully structured to be exciting, educational, and confidence-building
Warm-Up Games
We start every session with high-energy games and activities that get everyone moving, laughing, and working together. These games build trust and break the ice.
Drama Activities
The core of every session — improvisation, character work, script reading, storytelling, or rehearsals. Activities are tailored to the group and rotate each week to keep things fresh and exciting.
Group Work & Rehearsals
Children work together in smaller groups or as a whole cast. This is where teamwork, listening, and collaboration really come alive — especially when we're building towards a show.
Cool-Down & Reflection
We finish with a calm reflection, where children share what they enjoyed and what they learned. It's a chance to celebrate achievements and build excitement for the next session.
Every Child Matters
At Drama Knights, there is no “main character” and no child left on the sidelines. We are passionately committed to ensuring every child — regardless of ability, experience, or personality — gets opportunities to participate, contribute, and shine.
Many of our most confident performers were once the shyest children in the room. We never force anyone into the spotlight before they're ready. Instead, we gently build confidence through games, group work, and encouragement, letting every child blossom at their own pace.
