The Story
Welcome aboard the Starship Odyssey for its very first voyage into the stars.
Led by the gloriously dramatic Captain Starling, this wonderfully eccentric crew of explorers is ready for anything… or at least they like to think they are. But when their journey is thrown into chaos by a wild cosmic storm, they crash-land far from home and find themselves bouncing from one bizarre adventure to the next.
Their mission takes them to strange new places, including a planet full of copycat aliens and a mysterious world where pop music seems impossible to escape. Along the way, the crew must survive ship malfunctions, alien encounters, unexpected dance breaks, and one very unusual distress signal.
But beneath all the laughter, silliness, and space chaos, The Cosmic Crew is a story about working together, helping others, and discovering that even the most unlikely team can do something extraordinary when they believe in each other.
Full of humour, heart, audience interaction, and brilliant roles for every cast member, this original Drama Knights show is a joyful celebration of creativity, confidence, and teamwork.

Meet the Crew
The wonderfully eccentric crew of the Starship Odyssey
Captain Starling
The bold and brilliantly overdramatic captain of the Starship Odyssey. A natural showman who always looks confident… even when absolutely everything is going wrong.
First Officer Blaze
Organised, practical, and always trying to keep the ship running properly. Blaze is the steady hand of the crew — even if nobody else listens.
Sprocket & Wrench
The ship's engineering team. If something explodes, rattles, sparks, or falls off, they're the first ones under the dashboard trying to fix it.
Astra
Navigator of the Starship Odyssey. Calm, clever, and always trying to work out where the crew have ended up now.
Pulse
The ship's medic, ready for every possible emergency — real or imagined. Highly prepared, slightly panicked, and never far from a dramatic diagnosis.
Bolt
Security officer and self-declared action hero. Brave, loyal, and always ready to defend the ship… emotionally.
Echo
The communications expert, always listening for signals, messages, and mysterious sounds from deep space. Curious, observant, and central to the crew's biggest discoveries.
Crumbs
The cheerful galley chef keeping the crew fuelled with cosmic cakes, asteroid crisps, and some rather questionable space stew.
Kevin-9 & Karen-3000
Two unforgettable onboard robots with very different personalities. One thinks he's superior, the other would like to file a complaint.
Wobbles
A lovable young cadet who never quite manages to stay upright — but often ends up at the centre of the crew's most important moments.
Jet Juno, Hailey Harmonious, Pippa Panic & Skye Stellar
The wonderfully chaotic space stewards of the Starship Odyssey, doing their very best to keep passengers calm, comfortable, and only slightly alarmed.
The Alien Visitors
From giggling copycats on distant planets to mysterious beings in need of help, the crew's journey brings them face to face with some very unusual lifeforms.
Zibbit
A small but memorable new friend whose arrival changes the journey home in the best possible way.
